Rams Hill was also rated in 2017 by Golf Week as the third best resort course in California, after Pebble Beach and Spyglass. Most Fazio courses are private, or operated by exclusive resorts and hotels with extremely high fees, but Rams Hill, formerly an exclusive private club, is now open to the public and can be played at reasonable rates. With five sets of tees, the course plays to just over 7,200 yards, sports a 75.1 rating and 141 slope from the back tees. Something really unique for a desert course is the incredible height variations and views of the desert floor hundreds of feet below.
